Terms & Conditions

  • AGENCY FEE:

A mandatory agency service fee of 20% applies to all bookings.

  • MODEL RELEASES:

Model releases require approval from the agent before the talent’s endorsement. Should you intend to collaborate with our model, you must contact us directly before proceeding. Private messages or attempts to circumvent our agency are not permitted.

  • WORKING HOURS:

Normal working hours are 9am and 6pm unless previously negotiated. For bookings outside of these hours, a rate of time-and-a-half will apply.

  • HOURS BOOKED:

If a job finishes before the originally booked end time, the model must be paid for the original hours booked. If a job exceeds the originally booked hours, overtime/penalty rates will apply.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY ON CONFIRMED BOOKINGS:

Cancellations with less than one working day's notice incur a full fee. Cancellations made within two (2) working days' notice will be charged at half the fee.

  • CANCELLATION OF BOOKING BY THE AGENCY:

If the Agency must cancel a booking, we will make every reasonable effort to provide the client with sufficient notice, offer a suitable replacement or substitute, and take other appropriate measures to mitigate the effects of such cancellation. Nonetheless, the Agency shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the client as a result of this cancellation.

  • FULL-DAY BOOKING:

A full-day booking is defined as an eight (8)-hour engagement, which includes a 1-hour break.

  • HALF-DAY BOOKING:

    A half-day booking consists of a four (4)-hour engagement, which includes a 15-minute break.

  • OVERTIME RATES:

Overtime rates are applied at time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond eight (8) hours, up to a maximum of 10 hours. After 10 hours, the rate is doubled. The standard day rate is predicated upon an eight (8)-hour workday. Should a shoot extend up to 19 minutes beyond the scheduled hour, no additional hour will be charged. However, if the extension exceeds 20 minutes, an additional full hour will be billed at the applicable rate, along with any subsequent hours. The Agency does not accommodate charges for half-hour increments.

A travel fee of $50 per hour will be applied for travel undertaken by the model outside the of CBD, with each additional 30 minutes regarded as an hour.

  • MEALS:

Clients are responsible for providing all meals and beverages for the Talent/Model, accommodating any dietary requirements, during engagements exceeding five (5)hours.

  • LOCATION BOOKINGS:

In the case of location bookings, the Client is obligated to provide transportation for the Talent/Model to and from the booking site unless otherwise agreed. If the Client does not arrange transportation, the Agency reserves the right to invoice the Client for the transportation costs incurred. Furthermore, if the Talent/Model is unable to return to the Central Business District (CBD) for work due to location-related issues, the Client will incur a charge of half the daily fee for each day that the Talent/Model cannot return. If a booking is cancelled after transportation costs have been incurred by the Talent/Model or Agency, the Client is responsible for reimbursing this amount in full.

The Client shall perform a comprehensive health and safety assessment of the location and shall inform the Agency of any identified risks and the measures taken to mitigate them. The Client acknowledges that the health and safety of the Talent/Model is of paramount importance and agrees to ensure that the highest standards of health and safety are upheld throughout all location bookings.

  • MODEL EXPENSES:

Any expenses incurred by the agency or model, including but not limited to flights and hotel accommodations related to the booking, must be settled within 30 days. Any payments not received within this timeframe will be subject to a 20% agency fee.

Nude, semi-nude, see-through, bathing suit or lingerie photography requires the express prior written approval of the Agency. The use of the Talent/Model’s image or content must not be pornographic, derogatory, or a cause of ridicule or embarrassment to the Talent/Model. The image must not be altered or distorted. Subject to the above restrictions, behind-the-scenes filming is permitted on condition that the Talent/Model is hair-and-make-up ready. The Client is obligated to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of the Talent/Model at all times while services are being provided.

Such measures shall include, but are not limited to:

    1. Ensuring Safe Working Conditions: The Client must ensure that the venue and working conditions are both safe and secure, fully complying with all relevant health and safety standards, regulations, codes, and laws. This is essential for enabling the Talent/Model to perform services effectively and safely.

    2. Facilitating Adequate Rest Periods: The Client shall allow the Talent/Model to take appropriate and regular rest periods to ensure that the Talent/Model can maintain professionalism and deliver the required services.

    3.  Engaging Qualified Personnel: The Client must ensure that all individuals and organisations involved in the delivery of services are suitably qualified, experienced, and professional.

    5. Providing Private Facilities: The Client must offer an appropriate changing and dressing area for the Talent/Model to prepare for the provision of services, ensuring the maintenance of privacy.

    6. Credit for the Talent/Model:

In instances where credits are applicable, it is imperative to include “Talent/Model’s name” @ “FRND Models,” with appropriate tagging on social media platforms for both the Talent/Model and the Agency.

Please note: An agent from FRND Models may accompany and supervise talent who are newly represented or involved in extended projects to ensure that the job is conducted safely and in accordance with agency standards.

  • DUTY OF CARE:

When engaging and working with a model, all relevant workplace rules and regulations shall apply. Accordingly, any form of bullying, harassment, or mistreatment of models will not be tolerated. This policy encompasses all interactions with the model, including fittings, rehearsals, and any communications, whether direct or through a third party. Incidents of mistreatment will be reported to the relevant workplace departments. The model will be withdrawn from the assignment, and no further bookings will be permitted through FRND Models.

  • MAINTENANCE REQUESTS:

Requests for manicures, tanning, nails or additional hair maintenance services shall be billed at 50% of the Talent/Model's standard hourly rate unless a specific agreement has been negotiated. Additionally, the costs incurred for the requested maintenance will be charged to reimburse the Talent/Model. It is imperative to note that our models are not obligated to incur out-of-pocket expenses for client jobs.

  • HAIR & MAKEUP:

All models possess the right to engage hair and makeup artists who are skilled in working with their specific hair types and skin tones. Hair and makeup artists must have products appropriate for the model’s hair texture and cosmetics that match the model’s skin tone. Models shall not be required to manage their hair or makeup unless this requirement has been expressly discussed before booking. Such arrangements will incur an additional fee.

  • WEATHER PERMITS:

Bookings that are subject to weather conditions must be specified at the time of reservation, including any relevant stipulations. In the event of a first cancellation due to weather, should the booking be rescheduled within seven days, the associated fee shall be waived. For a second cancellation of the same booking due to weather, the client shall be charged 50% of the rate. A third cancellation of the same booking will result in the full rate being applicable. Cancellations unrelated to weather shall adhere to the standard cancellation policy. Cancellations due to weather without a rain date established at the time of booking will also be subject to the usual cancellation policy.

  • PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS:

Provisional bookings will be upheld when a secondary job is ready to be confirmed.

  • USAGE RIGHTS:

Usage rights are confined to those specifically granted and may not be extended without prior negotiation. All usage of images must be agreed upon in advance of the client’s utilisation. Any additional usage outside the negotiated terms requires prior discussion and agreement.

  • TEST SHOOTS AND EXPERIMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY:

When the Agency consents to a photographer conducting test or experimental photography, the photographer is not entitled to use, nor permit others to use, these images for commercial purposes unless specific arrangements have been established before the photographic session.  All final images and edits captured during a test shoot must be submitted to the Agency for approval before publication or release. Under no circumstances should imagery be forwarded directly to the talent.

  • E-COMMERCE SHOOTING:

E-commerce shoots are defined strictly as product photography and do not encompass social media content, landing pages, banner shots, or EDMs. These usages must be negotiated separately before the shoot, as they are classified as digital campaigns.

E-commerce rates will apply to either recognisable or unrecognisable shots (below the nose) and must be communicated by the client before the shoot.

  • FASHION SHOWS / RUNWAY:

Runway bookings confer upon the Client the right to engage the Talent/Model's services on the catwalk for the specified show. This also permits photographers to attend and capture photographs and videos during the event, provided that any resultant material is used solely for reporting and editorial purposes. Such images may not be employed for any other intent, including but not limited to advertising or promotional activities for sponsors or third-party participants involved in the event. The Client bears the responsibility of ensuring that all attending photographers are informed of this condition and comply accordingly. Should any different usage be required, it must be negotiated and agreed upon with the Agency at the time of booking.

  • PAYMENT:

A deposit amounting to 50% of the booking fee is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance must be paid within seven (7) days from the date stated on the invoice. The client who books the model will receive the invoice and shall be solely accountable for payment unless an alternative arrangement has been mutually agreed upon and confirmed before the commencement of the booking. Payments may be made via Electronic Funds Transfer to our bank account, with bank details provided on all invoices. Should the Client fail to remit payment as stipulated, they shall be liable for all costs incurred in the recovery of outstanding funds, including debt collection fees and legal expenses. Any grievances should be promptly reported to the Agency during the booking. Any claims or amendments to the negotiated fee must be communicated to the Agency within seven (7) days from the date of the invoice. No alterations or amendments to invoiced rates will be accepted more than seven (7) days following the issuance of an invoice.

  • JURISDICTION:

The Agency reserves the right to impose interest on late payments.  As a service provider, these terms and conditions take precedence over any terms that may be presented by the client, even if such terms contain a similar clause. Content may not be utilised until all fees have been paid in full.  All fees must be negotiated exclusively with FRND Models.

  • COMPLAINT:

All complaints should be reported at the time of occurrence. Complaints raised after the fact cannot be addressed retroactively.
